As I sit in my office finishing up my last minute tasks for the day, week & year, I can hear the preparation for the Christmas Eve Dinner well under way.

In a few minutes, the dinner will start, we’ll get to meet a bunch of new people (which on a day like to day is even exciting for an introvert like me), we’ll have our Christmas Eve service, and then I’ll officially start vacation.

Elizabeth and I are really looking forward to some down time with the kids. (While we don’t have a lot planned, I made a deal with Brenna & I need to learn how to skate before the end of the year…speaking of “down” time.)

Although I may post some stuff here over the break, the plan is that I won’t…other than a couple of posts I’ve preset to come in over the next week or so.

So, let me just wrap up by saying Merry Christmas.  I hope you have a great one!  And if I don’t see you before the new year, here’s to a great start to 2010!  God has great stuff in store for the Ithaca Vineyard this next year & I’m looking forward to being a part of it!
