IMG_8172_2Yesterday we decided to take a day trip about 2 hours south of Dublin to Waterford. We hadn’t been there previously nor learned very much about it.

While there we visited Reginald’s Tower, which is the only structure in Ireland named after a Viking. We also went to the Medieval Museum which has some unique items on display. (although Cromwell was mentioned a few too many times for Brenna’s taste.) Finally we had dinner at Bodega. (I have no idea why I ordered a raw fish platter, but I finished nearly all of it).

It was a long day, but the four of us who went, had a great time…and Waterford is definitely worth another visit.
