3 Thoughts on the 2011 Red Sox Season

Although I occasionally mention the Red Sox in my blog, I don't think I've ever written a full post about the Sox. But over the past few days there have been a few things that jumped out at me & thought there were a few things to learn...

Today our 3 interns officially started VLI. We started our first mentoring class this morning, by looking at the topic of evangelism. Each of the interns (Erin Smith, Darin LeBlanc & Kevin Cornell) will be leading a Servant Evangelism project this fall in addition to meeting for weekly classes, so don't be surprised if one of them asks you to be on their team!

Grumpiness – Part 2

Grumpiness is not a Fruit of the Spirit

So, while we were traveling in Europe this summer, each one of us had things we had places we wanted to visit... Liz wanted to reconnect with family that she had not seen in 25 years. Hannah wanted to visit Navan Fort, Erin wanted to go to Blarney Castle, Brenna wanted to go horseback riding, and I wanted to visit the Guinness factory...I was the only one who didn't get to their destination.

fear

As I was reading in the gospel of Matthew this morning, the topic of fear came up.  I don't know about you, but I can look back over my life and find way too many decisions that I made because I was afraid. Afraid of what someone will say, afraid of getting in trouble, afraid of a bad report going on my permanent record.
